Members make new friends by being part of a club where they attend meetings and participate in social events. Kiwanis clubs also provide excellent networking opportunities for professionals. A great way to get to know your fellow Kiwanians is by getting involved with our more than 20 committees.
Some activities can be worked around your schedule. While some committee projects are during the day, there are some that take place in the evenings (for example, Circle Kmeetings) or at other times. A number of our projects don’t require special skills or knowledge. Our construction committee will help you gain building skills. All that’s required is a willingness to help others, and you may like finding yourself in good company.
Our members are dedicated to making a difference in the community. There are a lot of committees that could use your help. We encourage everyone to get involved with the Kiwanis Club of Roanoke. Feel free to contact us or fill out the form below to learn about ways to be an active participant.
