In terms of this post and 200 Ma Ceramic Fuse Radioshack…Radio Shack many of you most likely think the shop has been opted for years after all the company applied for personal bankruptcy in 2015 and closed most company-owned shops a few years later the keyword there is company-owned stores dealer shops that were owned by independent business owners remained open one of them happened to be within a half and an hour drive at my place new holland pennsylvania amish nation here’s some shots of the outside of the radio shack what i really liked is how the structure kind of resembled a real shack here’s the within the radio shack it looks exactly as i remember pretty much any type of electronic or device can think of this shop probably has the first wall consisted of a bunch of cb radios and antennas the wall behind the counter held batteries and chargers as a few of you probably remember to the right of the counter was a wall with some antennas including the notorious antenna i inform individuals not to purchase however they buy it anyhow for those of you who are not aware of what i think about this design here is a short clip this model it’s scrap junk
What happened to RadioShack? 200 Ma Ceramic Fuse Radioshack
scrap this piece of junk [Music] the model was really set up outside and hooked into a television set i went through the channels and just as i expected it was not getting the abc affiliate whtm which relays on the vhf band this antenna model is known to not carry out well for vhf what’s so paradoxical is behind the buildings were some actually excellent older antenna models regardless of my criticism of this antenna model i can understand why the owners decide to sell and show it it’s smaller sized and more customer friendly the typical person does not want a huge antenna on their roofing regardless of the better efficiency or in this case getting the harrisburg abc affiliate the next design over had walkie-talkies and some diodes the next style had pretty much any kind of av cable television and adapter you can possibly imagine this used to be my preferred area since i’m also a wedding event videographer and often times i would go to a wedding event and forget a particular audio cable television needed for the microphone throughout the ceremony and there ‘d always be a radio shack neighboring i might stop at sadly that’s no longer the case another aisle featured fuses battery connectors and a lot of wires here’s a wall of transistors and would you believe accessories for installing an outdoor antenna mounting brackets amplifiers and even a rotator as i continued down the exact same wall there were video cable televisions and devices some walkie-talkies phone wires phones themselves and mobile phone accessories including this truly cool bluetooth cassette adapter it can’t be a radio shack without radios take a look at all of them designs in the middle of the store had cars and truck stereo devices speaker wire ethernet cables computer cables blank media and whoa blank cassette tapes at this radio shack i can literally buy a cassette deck record onto a blank cassette and if the heads get dirty
