90’s Radioshack Telephone 2022

In terms of this post and 90’s Radioshack Telephone…Radio Shack many of you most likely think the shop has actually been gone for years after all the business applied for bankruptcy in 2015 and closed most company-owned shops a couple of years later the keyword there is company-owned shops dealer stores that were owned by independent company owner remained open one of them happened to be within an hour and a half drive at my place new holland pennsylvania amish nation here’s some shots of the beyond the radio shack what i truly liked is how the building kind of looked like a real shack here’s the within the radio shack it looks precisely as i keep in mind pretty much any sort of electronic or device can think of this store most likely has the very first wall consisted of a lot of cb radios and antennas the wall behind the counter held batteries and chargers as some of you probably remember to the right of the counter was a wall with some antennas including the infamous antenna i tell individuals not to buy but they buy it anyway for those of you who are not aware of what i think of this design here is a brief clip this design it’s scrap junk

What happened to RadioShack? 90’s Radioshack Telephone

scrap this piece of junk [Music] the design was in fact installed outdoors and hooked into a television set i went through the channels and just as i expected it was not picking up the abc affiliate whtm which transmits on the vhf band this antenna design is known to not perform well for vhf what’s so paradoxical lags the buildings were some actually good older antenna models regardless of my criticism of this antenna design i can understand why the owners choose to offer and display it it’s smaller and more consumer friendly the average person does not want a huge antenna on their roofing regardless of the better efficiency or in this case gaining the harrisburg abc affiliate the next style over had walkie-talkies and some diodes the next style had pretty much any sort of av cable and adapter possible this used to be my favorite area due to the fact that i’m also a wedding event videographer and often times i would go to a wedding event and forget a particular audio cable television needed for the microphone during the event and there ‘d always be a radio shack close-by i might stop at sadly that’s no longer the case another aisle featured merges battery connectors and a bunch of wires here’s a wall of transistors and would you think devices for mounting an outside antenna mounting brackets amplifiers and even a rotator as i continued down the same wall there were video cables and accessories some walkie-talkies phone wires phones themselves and smart device devices including this actually cool bluetooth cassette adapter it can’t be a radio shack without radios look at all of them styles in the middle of the store had car stereo devices speaker wire ethernet cable televisions computer system cables blank media and whoa blank cassette tapes at this radio shack i can literally purchase a cassette deck record onto a blank cassette and if the heads get unclean
