junk this piece of junk [Music] the model was really set up outdoors and hooked into a television set i went through the channels and just as i anticipated it was not getting the abc affiliate whtm which relays on the vhf band this antenna model is understood to not perform well for vhf what’s so ironic is behind the buildings were some truly excellent older antenna models in spite of my criticism of this antenna model i can understand why the owners decide to sell and show it it’s smaller sized and more consumer friendly the average individual doesn’t want a big antenna on their roof in spite of the much better performance or in this case getting the harrisburg abc affiliate the next style over had walkie-talkies and some diodes the next design had pretty much any sort of av cable and adapter possible this used to be my favorite section since i’m also a wedding event videographer and many times i would go to a wedding and forget a particular audio cable television required for the microphone throughout the ceremony and there ‘d constantly be a radio shack close-by i might stop at sadly that’s no longer the case another aisle included fuses battery ports and a bunch of wires here’s a wall of transistors and would you think accessories for installing an outdoor antenna mounting brackets amplifiers and even a rotator as i continued down the same wall there were video cable televisions and devices some walkie-talkies phone wires phones themselves and smart device devices including this really cool bluetooth cassette adapter it can’t be a radio shack without radios take a look at all of them designs in the middle of the store had automobile stereo accessories speaker wire ethernet cables computer system cables blank media and whoa blank cassette tapes at this radio shack i can actually purchase a cassette deck record onto a blank cassette and if the heads get filthy
