In terms of this post and Best Electronics To Replace Radioshack…Radio Shack a lot of you most likely think the store has been gone for years after all the company filed for personal bankruptcy in 2015 and closed most company-owned stores a few years later on the key word there is company-owned shops dealership stores that were owned by independent business owners remained open one of them took place to be within an hour and a half drive at my place brand-new holland pennsylvania amish nation here’s some shots of the beyond the radio shack what i truly enjoyed is how the structure kind of looked like an actual shack here’s the inside of the radio shack it looks exactly as i keep in mind basically any sort of electronic or accessory can consider this shop probably has the first wall included a bunch of cb radios and antennas the wall behind the counter held batteries and chargers as some of you most likely keep in mind to the right of the counter was a wall with some antennas featuring the notorious antenna i inform people not to purchase however they buy it anyhow for those of you who are not knowledgeable about what i think of this model here is a brief clip this design it’s scrap scrap
What happened to RadioShack? Best Electronics To Replace Radioshack
scrap this piece of junk [Music] the model was actually installed outdoors and hooked into a television set i went through the channels and just as i expected it was not picking up the abc affiliate whtm which relays on the vhf band this antenna design is understood to not perform well for vhf what’s so paradoxical is behind the structures were some actually excellent older antenna models despite my criticism of this antenna design i can understand why the owners decide to sell and display it it’s smaller sized and more consumer friendly the typical person doesn’t want a huge antenna on their roof despite the better efficiency or in this case acquiring the harrisburg abc affiliate the next style over had two-way radios and some diodes the next design had pretty much any kind of av cable and adapter imaginable this used to be my preferred section since i’m also a wedding videographer and many times i would go to a wedding and forget a particular audio cable television required for the microphone during the ceremony and there ‘d constantly be a radio shack nearby i could stop at regrettably that’s no longer the case another aisle featured fuses battery adapters and a lot of wires here’s a wall of transistors and would you think devices for mounting an outside antenna installing brackets amplifiers and even a rotator as i continued down the same wall there were video cables and accessories some walkie-talkies phone wires phones themselves and smartphone devices including this really cool bluetooth cassette adapter it can’t be a radio shack without radios look at all of them styles in the middle of the shop had cars and truck stereo accessories speaker wire ethernet cables computer system cable televisions blank media and whoa blank cassette tapes at this radio shack i can literally purchase a cassette deck record onto a blank cassette and if the heads get filthy
