junk this piece of junk [Music] the model was really set up outside and hooked into a television set i went through the channels and just as i expected it was not picking up the abc affiliate whtm which relays on the vhf band this antenna model is understood to not perform well for vhf what’s so ironic is behind the structures were some actually good older antenna designs despite my criticism of this antenna design i can understand why the owners choose to sell and display it it’s smaller sized and more customer friendly the average individual does not desire a huge antenna on their roofing system regardless of the better efficiency or in this case gaining the harrisburg abc affiliate the next style over had two-way radios and some diodes the next design had pretty much any kind of av cable and adapter imaginable this used to be my favorite area because i’m likewise a wedding event videographer and sometimes i would go to a wedding event and forget a particular audio cable required for the microphone during the event and there ‘d always be a radio shack neighboring i could stop at regrettably that’s no longer the case another aisle included merges battery connectors and a bunch of wires here’s a wall of transistors and would you believe accessories for mounting an outside antenna installing brackets amplifiers and even a rotator as i continued down the exact same wall there were video cables and accessories some walkie-talkies phone wires phones themselves and mobile phone accessories including this truly cool bluetooth cassette adapter it can’t be a radio shack without radios look at all of them styles in the middle of the shop had cars and truck stereo devices speaker wire ethernet cables computer cable televisions blank media and whoa blank cassette tapes at this radio shack i can actually purchase a cassette deck record onto a blank cassette and if the heads get dirty
