In terms of this post and Does Radioshack Fix Laptops…Radio Shack much of you most likely think the store has been gone for years after all the business declared personal bankruptcy in 2015 and closed most company-owned shops a few years later on the key word there is company-owned shops dealership stores that were owned by independent business owners remained open one of them happened to be within an hour and a half drive at my location brand-new holland pennsylvania amish nation here’s some shots of the outside of the radio shack what i truly loved is how the structure kind of looked like a real shack here’s the within the radio shack it looks exactly as i keep in mind basically any sort of electronic or device can think of this store most likely has the very first wall included a lot of cb radios and antennas the wall behind the counter held batteries and chargers as a few of you probably keep in mind to the right of the counter was a wall with some antennas including the infamous antenna i tell people not to purchase but they buy it anyway for those of you who are not aware of what i consider this model here is a brief clip this design it’s junk scrap

scrap this piece of junk [Music] the model was really set up outdoors and hooked into a television set i went through the channels and just as i expected it was not getting the abc affiliate whtm which relays on the vhf band this antenna model is known to not perform well for vhf what’s so ironic lags the buildings were some actually good older antenna designs regardless of my criticism of this antenna model i can understand why the owners decide to offer and show it it’s smaller and more consumer friendly the typical person does not desire a huge antenna on their roofing system despite the better performance or in this case gaining the harrisburg abc affiliate the next style over had two-way radios and some diodes the next design had practically any sort of av cable and adapter imaginable this utilized to be my favorite area since i’m also a wedding event videographer and sometimes i would go to a wedding and forget a particular audio cable needed for the microphone during the event and there ‘d constantly be a radio shack nearby i could stop at regrettably that’s no longer the case another aisle featured fuses battery adapters and a lot of wires here’s a wall of transistors and would you believe devices for installing an outside antenna mounting brackets amplifiers and even a rotator as i continued down the exact same wall there were video cable televisions and accessories some two-way radios phone wires phones themselves and mobile phone accessories including this truly cool bluetooth cassette adapter it can’t be a radio shack without radios look at all of them designs in the middle of the shop had automobile stereo devices speaker wire ethernet cables computer cable televisions blank media and whoa blank cassette tapes at this radio shack i can literally buy a cassette deck record onto a blank cassette and if the heads get dirty
