scrap this piece of junk [Music] the model was in fact installed outdoors and hooked into a television set i went through the channels and just as i anticipated it was not picking up the abc affiliate whtm which transmits on the vhf band this antenna design is understood to not perform well for vhf what’s so ironic is behind the buildings were some actually great older antenna designs despite my criticism of this antenna model i can comprehend why the owners decide to offer and show it it’s smaller and more customer friendly the average individual doesn’t want a huge antenna on their roofing system despite the much better efficiency or in this case getting the harrisburg abc affiliate the next design over had walkie-talkies and some diodes the next design had basically any type of av cable and adapter you can possibly imagine this used to be my favorite section since i’m likewise a wedding event videographer and sometimes i would go to a wedding event and forget a specific audio cable needed for the microphone during the event and there ‘d constantly be a radio shack close-by i could stop at unfortunately that’s no longer the case another aisle featured fuses battery ports and a bunch of wires here’s a wall of transistors and would you think devices for installing an outside antenna mounting brackets amplifiers and even a rotator as i continued down the same wall there were video cables and devices some two-way radios phone wires phones themselves and smartphone accessories including this truly cool bluetooth cassette adapter it can’t be a radio shack without radios take a look at all of them styles in the middle of the shop had automobile stereo devices speaker wire ethernet cables computer system cables blank media and whoa blank cassette tapes at this radio shack i can literally purchase a cassette deck record onto a blank cassette and if the heads get unclean
