junk this piece of junk [Music] the design was in fact set up outdoors and hooked into a television set i went through the channels and just as i anticipated it was not picking up the abc affiliate whtm which transmits on the vhf band this antenna model is understood to not perform well for vhf what’s so paradoxical lags the buildings were some truly great older antenna designs in spite of my criticism of this antenna design i can understand why the owners choose to sell and display it it’s smaller and more customer friendly the average person does not desire a big antenna on their roof in spite of the better performance or in this case gaining the harrisburg abc affiliate the next design over had walkie-talkies and some diodes the next style had basically any kind of av cable television and adapter you can possibly imagine this used to be my preferred section due to the fact that i’m also a wedding event videographer and sometimes i would go to a wedding and forget a specific audio cable television required for the microphone during the event and there ‘d constantly be a radio shack neighboring i could stop at regrettably that’s no longer the case another aisle featured fuses battery ports and a lot of wires here’s a wall of transistors and would you think accessories for installing an outside antenna installing brackets amplifiers and even a rotator as i continued down the very same wall there were video cables and devices some two-way radios phone wires phones themselves and mobile phone accessories including this actually cool bluetooth cassette adapter it can’t be a radio shack without radios look at all of them designs in the middle of the store had cars and truck stereo accessories speaker wire ethernet cables computer cable televisions blank media and whoa blank cassette tapes at this radio shack i can literally purchase a cassette deck record onto a blank cassette and if the heads get dirty
