In terms of this post and Fix It Radioshack…Radio Shack many of you most likely believe the store has been opted for years after all the company filed for personal bankruptcy in 2015 and closed most company-owned stores a few years later on the keyword there is company-owned shops dealer stores that were owned by independent entrepreneur remained open among them occurred to be within an hour and a half drive at my area new holland pennsylvania amish country here’s some shots of the beyond the radio shack what i actually liked is how the structure sort of looked like a real shack here’s the within the radio shack it looks exactly as i remember practically any kind of electronic or accessory can consider this store most likely has the first wall contained a bunch of cb radios and antennas the wall behind the counter held batteries and chargers as a few of you most likely remember to the right of the counter was a wall with some antennas featuring the notorious antenna i inform individuals not to buy however they buy it anyhow for those of you who are not knowledgeable about what i think of this model here is a short clip this model it’s junk junk

junk this piece of junk [Music] the model was in fact set up outdoors and hooked into a tv set i went through the channels and just as i anticipated it was not getting the abc affiliate whtm which transmits on the vhf band this antenna design is understood to not carry out well for vhf what’s so paradoxical is behind the buildings were some truly excellent older antenna designs despite my criticism of this antenna model i can understand why the owners choose to sell and display it it’s smaller and more consumer friendly the average individual doesn’t want a huge antenna on their roof despite the better performance or in this case getting the harrisburg abc affiliate the next design over had two-way radios and some diodes the next design had practically any sort of av cable and adapter possible this used to be my preferred area due to the fact that i’m also a wedding event videographer and often times i would go to a wedding event and forget a particular audio cable required for the microphone during the ceremony and there ‘d always be a radio shack nearby i could stop at unfortunately that’s no longer the case another aisle featured merges battery ports and a lot of wires here’s a wall of transistors and would you believe devices for installing an outside antenna mounting brackets amplifiers and even a rotator as i continued down the very same wall there were video cable televisions and accessories some two-way radios phone wires phones themselves and smart device devices including this really cool bluetooth cassette adapter it can’t be a radio shack without radios look at all of them designs in the middle of the shop had car stereo accessories speaker wire ethernet cables computer system cable televisions blank media and whoa blank cassette tapes at this radio shack i can actually buy a cassette deck record onto a blank cassette and if the heads get filthy
