scrap this piece of junk [Music] the model was really set up outdoors and hooked into a television set i went through the channels and just as i anticipated it was not getting the abc affiliate whtm which relays on the vhf band this antenna design is understood to not perform well for vhf what’s so paradoxical is behind the structures were some really good older antenna designs regardless of my criticism of this antenna model i can understand why the owners decide to sell and display it it’s smaller and more consumer friendly the average individual doesn’t desire a huge antenna on their roofing despite the better efficiency or in this case acquiring the harrisburg abc affiliate the next design over had two-way radios and some diodes the next style had basically any sort of av cable television and adapter imaginable this used to be my preferred area because i’m also a wedding videographer and lot of times i would go to a wedding event and forget a particular audio cable needed for the microphone throughout the ceremony and there ‘d constantly be a radio shack nearby i could stop at sadly that’s no longer the case another aisle featured merges battery adapters and a bunch of wires here’s a wall of transistors and would you believe accessories for mounting an outside antenna installing brackets amplifiers and even a rotator as i continued down the exact same wall there were video cable televisions and accessories some two-way radios phone wires phones themselves and smartphone accessories including this actually cool bluetooth cassette adapter it can’t be a radio shack without radios take a look at all of them designs in the middle of the shop had car stereo devices speaker wire ethernet cables computer cable televisions blank media and whoa blank cassette tapes at this radio shack i can literally purchase a cassette deck record onto a blank cassette and if the heads get dirty
