junk this piece of junk [Music] the model was in fact installed outside and hooked into a television set i went through the channels and just as i anticipated it was not picking up the abc affiliate whtm which transmits on the vhf band this antenna design is known to not carry out well for vhf what’s so ironic lags the structures were some truly good older antenna models despite my criticism of this antenna design i can understand why the owners decide to offer and show it it’s smaller and more customer friendly the typical person doesn’t want a huge antenna on their roofing despite the much better performance or in this case gaining the harrisburg abc affiliate the next style over had two-way radios and some diodes the next style had basically any type of av cable and adapter imaginable this used to be my favorite section due to the fact that i’m also a wedding videographer and often times i would go to a wedding event and forget a specific audio cable television needed for the microphone during the event and there ‘d constantly be a radio shack neighboring i might stop at sadly that’s no longer the case another aisle included fuses battery connectors and a bunch of wires here’s a wall of transistors and would you believe devices for mounting an outside antenna mounting brackets amplifiers and even a rotator as i continued down the very same wall there were video cables and accessories some walkie-talkies phone wires phones themselves and smart device devices including this truly cool bluetooth cassette adapter it can’t be a radio shack without radios look at all of them styles in the middle of the store had automobile stereo devices speaker wire ethernet cable televisions computer cable televisions blank media and whoa blank cassette tapes at this radio shack i can actually purchase a cassette deck record onto a blank cassette and if the heads get unclean
