junk this piece of junk [Music] the design was really installed outdoors and hooked into a television set i went through the channels and just as i anticipated it was not getting the abc affiliate whtm which broadcasts on the vhf band this antenna design is known to not perform well for vhf what’s so paradoxical lags the structures were some actually excellent older antenna designs regardless of my criticism of this antenna design i can understand why the owners decide to sell and display it it’s smaller sized and more customer friendly the average person does not desire a big antenna on their roofing system regardless of the better efficiency or in this case getting the harrisburg abc affiliate the next style over had two-way radios and some diodes the next style had practically any type of av cable television and adapter imaginable this used to be my preferred area because i’m also a wedding event videographer and sometimes i would go to a wedding and forget a specific audio cable needed for the microphone during the event and there ‘d always be a radio shack close-by i could stop at unfortunately that’s no longer the case another aisle featured fuses battery connectors and a bunch of wires here’s a wall of transistors and would you think accessories for mounting an outdoor antenna installing brackets amplifiers and even a rotator as i continued down the very same wall there were video cables and accessories some walkie-talkies phone wires phones themselves and smartphone accessories including this really cool bluetooth cassette adapter it can’t be a radio shack without radios take a look at all of them designs in the middle of the shop had automobile stereo devices speaker wire ethernet cable televisions computer system cable televisions blank media and whoa blank cassette tapes at this radio shack i can actually buy a cassette deck record onto a blank cassette and if the heads get filthy
