In terms of this post and Radioshack 2042 Vs 2055…Radio Shack much of you probably think the store has been chosen years after all the company declared bankruptcy in 2015 and closed most company-owned stores a couple of years later the key word there is company-owned stores dealership shops that were owned by independent business owners stayed open one of them happened to be within a half and an hour drive at my area new holland pennsylvania amish country here’s some shots of the outside of the radio shack what i really loved is how the building type of looked like an actual shack here’s the within the radio shack it looks precisely as i remember pretty much any sort of electronic or device can think of this store most likely has the very first wall included a bunch of cb radios and antennas the wall behind the counter held batteries and battery chargers as a few of you probably keep in mind to the right of the counter was a wall with some antennas including the infamous antenna i tell people not to buy but they buy it anyway for those of you who are not knowledgeable about what i consider this design here is a brief clip this model it’s scrap scrap
What happened to RadioShack? Radioshack 2042 Vs 2055
junk this piece of junk [Music] the design was actually set up outdoors and hooked into a tv set i went through the channels and just as i expected it was not getting the abc affiliate whtm which broadcasts on the vhf band this antenna model is understood to not carry out well for vhf what’s so ironic lags the structures were some truly good older antenna designs in spite of my criticism of this antenna design i can comprehend why the owners choose to offer and show it it’s smaller sized and more customer friendly the typical individual does not want a big antenna on their roofing system in spite of the much better performance or in this case getting the harrisburg abc affiliate the next design over had walkie-talkies and some diodes the next design had pretty much any kind of av cable television and adapter possible this used to be my preferred section since i’m also a wedding event videographer and sometimes i would go to a wedding and forget a specific audio cable television required for the microphone throughout the event and there ‘d always be a radio shack neighboring i could stop at sadly that’s no longer the case another aisle included merges battery adapters and a bunch of wires here’s a wall of transistors and would you think devices for mounting an outside antenna mounting brackets amplifiers and even a rotator as i continued down the same wall there were video cables and accessories some two-way radios phone wires phones themselves and mobile phone devices including this truly cool bluetooth cassette adapter it can’t be a radio shack without radios look at all of them designs in the middle of the shop had car stereo accessories speaker wire ethernet cables computer system cables blank media and whoa blank cassette tapes at this radio shack i can literally buy a cassette deck record onto a blank cassette and if the heads get dirty
