scrap this piece of junk [Music] the model was in fact installed outdoors and hooked into a television set i went through the channels and just as i anticipated it was not getting the abc affiliate whtm which broadcasts on the vhf band this antenna model is understood to not perform well for vhf what’s so ironic is behind the structures were some truly good older antenna designs despite my criticism of this antenna model i can comprehend why the owners choose to offer and display it it’s smaller and more customer friendly the typical individual does not desire a big antenna on their roofing system despite the better efficiency or in this case acquiring the harrisburg abc affiliate the next style over had two-way radios and some diodes the next design had pretty much any sort of av cable and adapter imaginable this utilized to be my preferred area since i’m also a wedding videographer and often times i would go to a wedding and forget a specific audio cable required for the microphone during the ceremony and there ‘d constantly be a radio shack nearby i could stop at unfortunately that’s no longer the case another aisle included fuses battery connectors and a lot of wires here’s a wall of transistors and would you think accessories for mounting an outdoor antenna mounting brackets amplifiers and even a rotator as i continued down the exact same wall there were video cable televisions and accessories some walkie-talkies phone wires phones themselves and smartphone devices including this actually cool bluetooth cassette adapter it can’t be a radio shack without radios take a look at all of them designs in the middle of the store had automobile stereo accessories speaker wire ethernet cables computer cable televisions blank media and whoa blank cassette tapes at this radio shack i can actually purchase a cassette deck record onto a blank cassette and if the heads get unclean
