In terms of this post and Radioshack Closed?…Radio Shack many of you probably believe the shop has been chosen years after all the business applied for insolvency in 2015 and closed most company-owned shops a few years later on the key word there is company-owned stores dealer shops that were owned by independent business owners remained open among them took place to be within a half and an hour drive at my location brand-new holland pennsylvania amish country here’s some shots of the beyond the radio shack what i really enjoyed is how the structure kind of looked like a real shack here’s the within the radio shack it looks precisely as i remember pretty much any kind of electronic or accessory can think about this shop most likely has the first wall included a lot of cb radios and antennas the wall behind the counter held batteries and battery chargers as some of you most likely remember to the right of the counter was a wall with some antennas featuring the infamous antenna i tell individuals not to buy but they buy it anyhow for those of you who are not familiar with what i think about this model here is a short clip this design it’s scrap scrap

junk this piece of junk [Music] the model was really set up outside and hooked into a television set i went through the channels and just as i anticipated it was not picking up the abc affiliate whtm which broadcasts on the vhf band this antenna design is known to not perform well for vhf what’s so ironic is behind the buildings were some actually good older antenna models in spite of my criticism of this antenna model i can understand why the owners choose to offer and display it it’s smaller sized and more customer friendly the typical person does not want a big antenna on their roofing despite the much better efficiency or in this case acquiring the harrisburg abc affiliate the next style over had two-way radios and some diodes the next design had basically any sort of av cable and adapter possible this utilized to be my favorite area since i’m also a wedding videographer and sometimes i would go to a wedding event and forget a specific audio cable television needed for the microphone during the ceremony and there ‘d constantly be a radio shack nearby i might stop at unfortunately that’s no longer the case another aisle included merges battery ports and a lot of wires here’s a wall of transistors and would you believe devices for installing an outdoor antenna installing brackets amplifiers and even a rotator as i continued down the same wall there were video cables and devices some two-way radios phone wires phones themselves and smartphone accessories including this actually cool bluetooth cassette adapter it can’t be a radio shack without radios look at all of them designs in the middle of the shop had automobile stereo accessories speaker wire ethernet cables computer cable televisions blank media and whoa blank cassette tapes at this radio shack i can literally purchase a cassette deck record onto a blank cassette and if the heads get filthy
