Radioshack Eastgate 2022

In terms of this post and Radioshack Eastgate…Radio Shack many of you probably believe the shop has been chosen years after all the company filed for insolvency in 2015 and closed most company-owned shops a couple of years later on the keyword there is company-owned shops dealer shops that were owned by independent business owners stayed open one of them took place to be within an hour and a half drive at my location brand-new holland pennsylvania amish nation here’s some shots of the beyond the radio shack what i really loved is how the structure sort of looked like an actual shack here’s the inside of the radio shack it looks precisely as i keep in mind practically any type of electronic or accessory can consider this store most likely has the very first wall consisted of a lot of cb radios and antennas the wall behind the counter held batteries and chargers as some of you most likely remember to the right of the counter was a wall with some antennas featuring the infamous antenna i inform people not to purchase but they buy it anyhow for those of you who are not aware of what i think of this design here is a brief clip this design it’s junk scrap

What happened to RadioShack? Radioshack Eastgate

scrap this piece of junk [Music] the model was actually set up outdoors and hooked into a tv set i went through the channels and just as i expected it was not picking up the abc affiliate whtm which transmits on the vhf band this antenna design is known to not carry out well for vhf what’s so paradoxical is behind the structures were some really good older antenna models in spite of my criticism of this antenna model i can understand why the owners choose to offer and show it it’s smaller and more customer friendly the typical person does not want a huge antenna on their roofing regardless of the better performance or in this case gaining the harrisburg abc affiliate the next design over had walkie-talkies and some diodes the next design had practically any type of av cable and adapter imaginable this used to be my preferred area due to the fact that i’m also a wedding event videographer and lot of times i would go to a wedding and forget a particular audio cable needed for the microphone during the ceremony and there ‘d constantly be a radio shack neighboring i might stop at sadly that’s no longer the case another aisle featured fuses battery connectors and a lot of wires here’s a wall of transistors and would you believe accessories for installing an outdoor antenna mounting brackets amplifiers and even a rotator as i continued down the same wall there were video cables and accessories some walkie-talkies phone wires phones themselves and mobile phone devices including this actually cool bluetooth cassette adapter it can’t be a radio shack without radios look at all of them designs in the middle of the shop had automobile stereo devices speaker wire ethernet cables computer system cables blank media and whoa blank cassette tapes at this radio shack i can actually purchase a cassette deck record onto a blank cassette and if the heads get unclean
