In terms of this post and Radioshack Ec-2010…Radio Shack many of you most likely think the store has been opted for years after all the company declared insolvency in 2015 and closed most company-owned stores a few years later on the key word there is company-owned shops dealer stores that were owned by independent company owner remained open one of them happened to be within an hour and a half drive at my location new holland pennsylvania amish nation here’s some shots of the outside of the radio shack what i truly loved is how the structure type of looked like a real shack here’s the within the radio shack it looks exactly as i keep in mind basically any sort of electronic or accessory can consider this shop probably has the first wall included a lot of cb radios and antennas the wall behind the counter held batteries and battery chargers as some of you most likely remember to the right of the counter was a wall with some antennas including the infamous antenna i tell people not to purchase but they buy it anyway for those of you who are not aware of what i consider this model here is a brief clip this model it’s junk junk

What happened to RadioShack? Radioshack Ec-2010

scrap this piece of junk [Music] the model was actually set up outdoors and hooked into a television set i went through the channels and just as i anticipated it was not getting the abc affiliate whtm which broadcasts on the vhf band this antenna design is known to not carry out well for vhf what’s so paradoxical lags the structures were some really excellent older antenna designs in spite of my criticism of this antenna model i can comprehend why the owners decide to sell and display it it’s smaller sized and more consumer friendly the average individual does not want a big antenna on their roofing system despite the better efficiency or in this case getting the harrisburg abc affiliate the next design over had walkie-talkies and some diodes the next style had practically any type of av cable and adapter imaginable this used to be my preferred section because i’m also a wedding event videographer and sometimes i would go to a wedding event and forget a specific audio cable needed for the microphone throughout the ceremony and there ‘d always be a radio shack nearby i might stop at unfortunately that’s no longer the case another aisle featured merges battery adapters and a lot of wires here’s a wall of transistors and would you think accessories for installing an outdoor antenna installing brackets amplifiers and even a rotator as i continued down the exact same wall there were video cable televisions and accessories some two-way radios phone wires phones themselves and smartphone devices including this really cool bluetooth cassette adapter it can’t be a radio shack without radios look at all of them styles in the middle of the shop had car stereo accessories speaker wire ethernet cable televisions computer cable televisions blank media and whoa blank cassette tapes at this radio shack i can literally buy a cassette deck record onto a blank cassette and if the heads get unclean
