junk this piece of junk [Music] the model was really installed outside and hooked into a television set i went through the channels and just as i expected it was not getting the abc affiliate whtm which transmits on the vhf band this antenna design is known to not carry out well for vhf what’s so paradoxical is behind the buildings were some really excellent older antenna models in spite of my criticism of this antenna design i can understand why the owners decide to sell and show it it’s smaller and more consumer friendly the average individual does not want a big antenna on their roofing in spite of the much better performance or in this case acquiring the harrisburg abc affiliate the next style over had two-way radios and some diodes the next design had practically any kind of av cable television and adapter imaginable this used to be my favorite section since i’m also a wedding videographer and many times i would go to a wedding and forget a particular audio cable required for the microphone throughout the ceremony and there ‘d constantly be a radio shack neighboring i could stop at unfortunately that’s no longer the case another aisle included merges battery connectors and a bunch of wires here’s a wall of transistors and would you think accessories for mounting an outdoor antenna mounting brackets amplifiers and even a rotator as i continued down the same wall there were video cables and accessories some walkie-talkies phone wires phones themselves and mobile phone accessories including this really cool bluetooth cassette adapter it can’t be a radio shack without radios take a look at all of them designs in the middle of the store had automobile stereo accessories speaker wire ethernet cables computer system cables blank media and whoa blank cassette tapes at this radio shack i can actually buy a cassette deck record onto a blank cassette and if the heads get unclean
