In terms of this post and Radioshack Eugene West 11Th…Radio Shack a number of you most likely believe the shop has been opted for years after all the company applied for insolvency in 2015 and closed most company-owned stores a couple of years later the key word there is company-owned stores dealer stores that were owned by independent entrepreneur remained open one of them happened to be within a half and an hour drive at my area brand-new holland pennsylvania amish nation here’s some shots of the beyond the radio shack what i truly loved is how the structure type of resembled a real shack here’s the inside of the radio shack it looks exactly as i remember pretty much any kind of electronic or accessory can consider this store most likely has the first wall included a bunch of cb radios and antennas the wall behind the counter held batteries and battery chargers as some of you most likely remember to the right of the counter was a wall with some antennas including the infamous antenna i tell individuals not to buy but they buy it anyway for those of you who are not aware of what i think about this design here is a short clip this model it’s scrap junk

What happened to RadioShack? Radioshack Eugene West 11Th

scrap this piece of junk [Music] the model was actually installed outside and hooked into a television set i went through the channels and just as i anticipated it was not getting the abc affiliate whtm which broadcasts on the vhf band this antenna design is understood to not perform well for vhf what’s so paradoxical lags the structures were some really great older antenna models despite my criticism of this antenna design i can understand why the owners choose to sell and display it it’s smaller and more customer friendly the typical individual does not want a big antenna on their roof despite the much better performance or in this case gaining the harrisburg abc affiliate the next design over had two-way radios and some diodes the next style had basically any type of av cable television and adapter possible this used to be my favorite area since i’m also a wedding event videographer and often times i would go to a wedding event and forget a specific audio cable needed for the microphone throughout the ceremony and there ‘d always be a radio shack close-by i might stop at regrettably that’s no longer the case another aisle included merges battery ports and a lot of wires here’s a wall of transistors and would you believe accessories for installing an outdoor antenna mounting brackets amplifiers and even a rotator as i continued down the same wall there were video cables and devices some two-way radios phone wires phones themselves and smartphone accessories including this actually cool bluetooth cassette adapter it can’t be a radio shack without radios look at all of them designs in the middle of the shop had vehicle stereo devices speaker wire ethernet cables computer system cables blank media and whoa blank cassette tapes at this radio shack i can actually buy a cassette deck record onto a blank cassette and if the heads get dirty
