In terms of this post and Radioshack Facebook Ohio…Radio Shack much of you most likely believe the shop has been gone for years after all the business applied for bankruptcy in 2015 and closed most company-owned shops a couple of years later on the key word there is company-owned shops dealership shops that were owned by independent company owner remained open one of them happened to be within an hour and a half drive at my place brand-new holland pennsylvania amish country here’s some shots of the outside of the radio shack what i really loved is how the structure type of looked like a real shack here’s the inside of the radio shack it looks precisely as i keep in mind basically any sort of electronic or device can think of this store most likely has the first wall consisted of a bunch of cb radios and antennas the wall behind the counter held batteries and battery chargers as some of you probably keep in mind to the right of the counter was a wall with some antennas including the notorious antenna i tell individuals not to purchase however they buy it anyhow for those of you who are not aware of what i think about this design here is a brief clip this design it’s scrap scrap

scrap this piece of junk [Music] the model was in fact set up outdoors and hooked into a television set i went through the channels and just as i anticipated it was not picking up the abc affiliate whtm which relays on the vhf band this antenna design is understood to not perform well for vhf what’s so paradoxical is behind the structures were some truly great older antenna models in spite of my criticism of this antenna design i can understand why the owners decide to sell and show it it’s smaller and more customer friendly the average person doesn’t desire a huge antenna on their roofing system in spite of the better performance or in this case acquiring the harrisburg abc affiliate the next style over had two-way radios and some diodes the next style had basically any kind of av cable and adapter possible this used to be my favorite area because i’m also a wedding event videographer and sometimes i would go to a wedding event and forget a specific audio cable required for the microphone throughout the event and there ‘d constantly be a radio shack neighboring i might stop at unfortunately that’s no longer the case another aisle included merges battery ports and a bunch of wires here’s a wall of transistors and would you believe devices for mounting an outdoor antenna mounting brackets amplifiers and even a rotator as i continued down the exact same wall there were video cable televisions and accessories some walkie-talkies phone wires phones themselves and smartphone accessories including this truly cool bluetooth cassette adapter it can’t be a radio shack without radios take a look at all of them designs in the middle of the store had automobile stereo devices speaker wire ethernet cables computer cable televisions blank media and whoa blank cassette tapes at this radio shack i can literally purchase a cassette deck record onto a blank cassette and if the heads get unclean
