In terms of this post and Radioshack Jersey City New Jersey…Radio Shack much of you most likely think the store has been opted for years after all the business declared bankruptcy in 2015 and closed most company-owned stores a couple of years later the key word there is company-owned stores dealership stores that were owned by independent company owner remained open among them happened to be within a half and an hour drive at my area brand-new holland pennsylvania amish nation here’s some shots of the outside of the radio shack what i truly enjoyed is how the building kind of resembled an actual shack here’s the inside of the radio shack it looks precisely as i keep in mind basically any type of electronic or device can think of this shop probably has the first wall included a bunch of cb radios and antennas the wall behind the counter held batteries and chargers as a few of you most likely remember to the right of the counter was a wall with some antennas featuring the notorious antenna i inform people not to purchase however they buy it anyway for those of you who are not aware of what i think about this model here is a brief clip this model it’s junk junk

junk this piece of junk [Music] the design was really installed outdoors and hooked into a tv set i went through the channels and just as i expected it was not picking up the abc affiliate whtm which transmits on the vhf band this antenna model is known to not perform well for vhf what’s so ironic lags the buildings were some really excellent older antenna models regardless of my criticism of this antenna design i can understand why the owners choose to sell and show it it’s smaller sized and more consumer friendly the typical person does not want a huge antenna on their roof regardless of the much better efficiency or in this case getting the harrisburg abc affiliate the next style over had walkie-talkies and some diodes the next design had pretty much any kind of av cable and adapter you can possibly imagine this used to be my preferred area since i’m likewise a wedding videographer and many times i would go to a wedding event and forget a particular audio cable required for the microphone during the ceremony and there ‘d always be a radio shack close-by i could stop at regrettably that’s no longer the case another aisle included merges battery connectors and a bunch of wires here’s a wall of transistors and would you believe accessories for mounting an outdoor antenna installing brackets amplifiers and even a rotator as i continued down the exact same wall there were video cables and accessories some two-way radios phone wires phones themselves and smart device devices including this really cool bluetooth cassette adapter it can’t be a radio shack without radios take a look at all of them styles in the middle of the store had automobile stereo devices speaker wire ethernet cable televisions computer cable televisions blank media and whoa blank cassette tapes at this radio shack i can literally purchase a cassette deck record onto a blank cassette and if the heads get unclean
