scrap this piece of junk [Music] the model was in fact installed outdoors and hooked into a television set i went through the channels and just as i expected it was not getting the abc affiliate whtm which transmits on the vhf band this antenna model is understood to not carry out well for vhf what’s so ironic is behind the structures were some really excellent older antenna designs despite my criticism of this antenna design i can understand why the owners decide to offer and show it it’s smaller sized and more customer friendly the average person does not want a huge antenna on their roof despite the much better efficiency or in this case getting the harrisburg abc affiliate the next design over had two-way radios and some diodes the next style had practically any type of av cable television and adapter possible this used to be my preferred area because i’m also a wedding event videographer and sometimes i would go to a wedding and forget a specific audio cable required for the microphone during the event and there ‘d always be a radio shack close-by i could stop at sadly that’s no longer the case another aisle included merges battery ports and a lot of wires here’s a wall of transistors and would you think accessories for installing an outside antenna installing brackets amplifiers and even a rotator as i continued down the very same wall there were video cable televisions and devices some walkie-talkies phone wires phones themselves and smartphone accessories including this truly cool bluetooth cassette adapter it can’t be a radio shack without radios take a look at all of them styles in the middle of the store had cars and truck stereo devices speaker wire ethernet cables computer cables blank media and whoa blank cassette tapes at this radio shack i can literally buy a cassette deck record onto a blank cassette and if the heads get dirty
