In terms of this post and Radioshack Manager…Radio Shack a lot of you most likely believe the store has been gone for years after all the business filed for insolvency in 2015 and closed most company-owned shops a few years later on the key word there is company-owned shops dealership stores that were owned by independent company owner stayed open one of them took place to be within an hour and a half drive at my place brand-new holland pennsylvania amish country here’s some shots of the beyond the radio shack what i really enjoyed is how the structure kind of resembled a real shack here’s the inside of the radio shack it looks exactly as i remember practically any type of electronic or accessory can consider this store most likely has the very first wall contained a bunch of cb radios and antennas the wall behind the counter held batteries and battery chargers as some of you probably remember to the right of the counter was a wall with some antennas including the infamous antenna i tell individuals not to buy however they buy it anyhow for those of you who are not familiar with what i think about this design here is a brief clip this design it’s scrap junk

junk this piece of junk [Music] the design was actually installed outdoors and hooked into a television set i went through the channels and just as i expected it was not getting the abc affiliate whtm which relays on the vhf band this antenna model is known to not carry out well for vhf what’s so paradoxical lags the buildings were some actually great older antenna designs regardless of my criticism of this antenna model i can understand why the owners choose to offer and display it it’s smaller and more customer friendly the typical person doesn’t desire a big antenna on their roofing in spite of the much better performance or in this case getting the harrisburg abc affiliate the next style over had two-way radios and some diodes the next style had basically any kind of av cable television and adapter possible this used to be my preferred area because i’m likewise a wedding videographer and lot of times i would go to a wedding and forget a specific audio cable television required for the microphone during the ceremony and there ‘d always be a radio shack nearby i could stop at unfortunately that’s no longer the case another aisle featured fuses battery ports and a bunch of wires here’s a wall of transistors and would you believe accessories for installing an outside antenna mounting brackets amplifiers and even a rotator as i continued down the exact same wall there were video cables and accessories some two-way radios phone wires phones themselves and smart device accessories including this really cool bluetooth cassette adapter it can’t be a radio shack without radios take a look at all of them styles in the middle of the store had cars and truck stereo accessories speaker wire ethernet cables computer cable televisions blank media and whoa blank cassette tapes at this radio shack i can actually buy a cassette deck record onto a blank cassette and if the heads get filthy
