scrap this piece of junk [Music] the design was in fact set up outdoors and hooked into a television set i went through the channels and just as i expected it was not picking up the abc affiliate whtm which broadcasts on the vhf band this antenna model is understood to not perform well for vhf what’s so ironic is behind the structures were some actually excellent older antenna designs in spite of my criticism of this antenna design i can understand why the owners decide to offer and show it it’s smaller and more consumer friendly the average individual does not want a big antenna on their roof in spite of the much better performance or in this case gaining the harrisburg abc affiliate the next style over had walkie-talkies and some diodes the next design had pretty much any type of av cable and adapter possible this utilized to be my preferred section since i’m likewise a wedding event videographer and often times i would go to a wedding event and forget a specific audio cable television required for the microphone throughout the event and there ‘d always be a radio shack nearby i might stop at regrettably that’s no longer the case another aisle included fuses battery ports and a bunch of wires here’s a wall of transistors and would you think accessories for installing an outdoor antenna mounting brackets amplifiers and even a rotator as i continued down the same wall there were video cables and devices some two-way radios phone wires phones themselves and smartphone accessories including this really cool bluetooth cassette adapter it can’t be a radio shack without radios look at all of them styles in the middle of the shop had car stereo devices speaker wire ethernet cables computer cable televisions blank media and whoa blank cassette tapes at this radio shack i can literally buy a cassette deck record onto a blank cassette and if the heads get unclean
