In terms of this post and Radioshack Musical Information System Tutorial…Radio Shack a lot of you probably believe the store has been opted for years after all the business applied for insolvency in 2015 and closed most company-owned stores a couple of years later on the key word there is company-owned shops dealership stores that were owned by independent entrepreneur remained open among them happened to be within an hour and a half drive at my area brand-new holland pennsylvania amish nation here’s some shots of the beyond the radio shack what i really enjoyed is how the building type of looked like an actual shack here’s the within the radio shack it looks exactly as i remember practically any kind of electronic or accessory can think of this shop most likely has the very first wall consisted of a lot of cb radios and antennas the wall behind the counter held batteries and chargers as a few of you probably remember to the right of the counter was a wall with some antennas featuring the notorious antenna i inform people not to purchase but they buy it anyway for those of you who are not familiar with what i consider this model here is a brief clip this model it’s junk junk

junk this piece of junk [Music] the model was in fact set up outdoors and hooked into a tv set i went through the channels and just as i expected it was not picking up the abc affiliate whtm which broadcasts on the vhf band this antenna model is understood to not carry out well for vhf what’s so paradoxical is behind the structures were some actually great older antenna designs regardless of my criticism of this antenna model i can understand why the owners decide to sell and show it it’s smaller and more customer friendly the typical person does not want a big antenna on their roof despite the much better performance or in this case getting the harrisburg abc affiliate the next design over had walkie-talkies and some diodes the next design had practically any type of av cable television and adapter imaginable this used to be my preferred area due to the fact that i’m also a wedding event videographer and many times i would go to a wedding and forget a specific audio cable needed for the microphone during the event and there ‘d always be a radio shack neighboring i might stop at unfortunately that’s no longer the case another aisle included fuses battery connectors and a lot of wires here’s a wall of transistors and would you think devices for installing an outdoor antenna installing brackets amplifiers and even a rotator as i continued down the very same wall there were video cable televisions and accessories some walkie-talkies phone wires phones themselves and smartphone accessories including this truly cool bluetooth cassette adapter it can’t be a radio shack without radios take a look at all of them styles in the middle of the shop had cars and truck stereo accessories speaker wire ethernet cables computer cables blank media and whoa blank cassette tapes at this radio shack i can literally buy a cassette deck record onto a blank cassette and if the heads get dirty
