Radioshack Out Of Business 2013 2022

In terms of this post and Radioshack Out Of Business 2013…Radio Shack many of you most likely believe the store has been chosen years after all the business filed for insolvency in 2015 and closed most company-owned shops a couple of years later the key word there is company-owned shops dealer stores that were owned by independent business owners remained open one of them occurred to be within an hour and a half drive at my location brand-new holland pennsylvania amish nation here’s some shots of the outside of the radio shack what i truly enjoyed is how the structure kind of looked like an actual shack here’s the inside of the radio shack it looks exactly as i keep in mind basically any sort of electronic or accessory can think about this store probably has the very first wall contained a bunch of cb radios and antennas the wall behind the counter held batteries and battery chargers as some of you probably keep in mind to the right of the counter was a wall with some antennas including the notorious antenna i tell people not to buy however they buy it anyway for those of you who are not aware of what i think about this design here is a brief clip this design it’s scrap junk

What happened to RadioShack? Radioshack Out Of Business 2013

junk this piece of junk [Music] the model was in fact installed outside and hooked into a tv set i went through the channels and just as i expected it was not getting the abc affiliate whtm which broadcasts on the vhf band this antenna model is known to not carry out well for vhf what’s so ironic is behind the buildings were some actually excellent older antenna models in spite of my criticism of this antenna design i can understand why the owners decide to offer and display it it’s smaller sized and more consumer friendly the average individual doesn’t desire a huge antenna on their roof despite the much better efficiency or in this case gaining the harrisburg abc affiliate the next design over had two-way radios and some diodes the next style had practically any sort of av cable and adapter you can possibly imagine this used to be my favorite section due to the fact that i’m also a wedding event videographer and lot of times i would go to a wedding and forget a particular audio cable needed for the microphone throughout the event and there ‘d always be a radio shack close-by i might stop at unfortunately that’s no longer the case another aisle featured fuses battery adapters and a lot of wires here’s a wall of transistors and would you think devices for mounting an outside antenna mounting brackets amplifiers and even a rotator as i continued down the exact same wall there were video cables and devices some two-way radios phone wires phones themselves and smart device devices including this actually cool bluetooth cassette adapter it can’t be a radio shack without radios look at all of them styles in the middle of the store had vehicle stereo devices speaker wire ethernet cable televisions computer system cable televisions blank media and whoa blank cassette tapes at this radio shack i can literally buy a cassette deck record onto a blank cassette and if the heads get dirty

just purchase a head cleaner the nostalgia i experienced in the store can’t be entirely shared in this video alone you really need to see it for yourself the whole time i was at the store individuals would come in and state how they couldn’t believe what they saw a radio shack with many great items the general manager notified me that one individual drove all the way from syracuse about 4 hours away just to experience a store i know a lot of you are much closer than that so absolutely think about taking a trip to have a look at this radio shack seriously i forgot how awesome it was to patronize one the store has a ton of products i was looking at on amazon but never bought due to the fact that i never saw the physical products but seeing them in person was a completely different experience if you’re within driving range even if it’s a few hours certainly consider making a trip to this radio shack it remains in service thanks to support of regional consumers and hopefully a few of my audiences thanks to basic supervisor ralph hess and owner steve lowen for enabling me to go to their area make this video both are licensed hams so you understand you are getting great things at the store if you wish to reach out to either of them here are their call indications i also connect them in the description of this video an extra thanks to everybody who supports me on patreon or is a member of my youtube channel if my videos have helped you cut the cable if you simply think they’re cool and wish to support them all getting exclusive perks such as behind the scenes content access to my videos advertisement for your one day early and direct contact with me visit patreon.com forward slash antennaman or click the join button this video if you’re on facebook you can like my facebook page at facebook.com forward slash antennaman pa if you’re not on facebook wishes to receive email updates when i post brand-new videos feel free to register to my email list i connected a link in the description of the video stay tuned to my youtube channel for more cord cutting antenna passed on videos and possibly a check out to a kmart and have an awesome day.
