junk this piece of junk [Music] the model was actually set up outside and hooked into a television set i went through the channels and just as i expected it was not getting the abc affiliate whtm which broadcasts on the vhf band this antenna model is understood to not perform well for vhf what’s so ironic is behind the structures were some truly good older antenna designs in spite of my criticism of this antenna design i can comprehend why the owners choose to offer and display it it’s smaller and more consumer friendly the typical person doesn’t want a big antenna on their roof regardless of the much better performance or in this case acquiring the harrisburg abc affiliate the next style over had two-way radios and some diodes the next design had pretty much any type of av cable and adapter possible this used to be my preferred section due to the fact that i’m also a wedding videographer and lot of times i would go to a wedding event and forget a particular audio cable required for the microphone during the ceremony and there ‘d always be a radio shack close-by i could stop at unfortunately that’s no longer the case another aisle included merges battery connectors and a lot of wires here’s a wall of transistors and would you think accessories for installing an outside antenna mounting brackets amplifiers and even a rotator as i continued down the exact same wall there were video cables and accessories some two-way radios phone wires phones themselves and smartphone accessories including this actually cool bluetooth cassette adapter it can’t be a radio shack without radios look at all of them styles in the middle of the store had cars and truck stereo devices speaker wire ethernet cable televisions computer cable televisions blank media and whoa blank cassette tapes at this radio shack i can literally purchase a cassette deck record onto a blank cassette and if the heads get dirty
