In terms of this post and Radioshack Replacement Store…Radio Shack a lot of you most likely think the store has been gone for years after all the business declared bankruptcy in 2015 and closed most company-owned stores a few years later the keyword there is company-owned stores dealer stores that were owned by independent entrepreneur stayed open one of them took place to be within a half and an hour drive at my location new holland pennsylvania amish nation here’s some shots of the beyond the radio shack what i truly enjoyed is how the building sort of looked like an actual shack here’s the within the radio shack it looks exactly as i keep in mind pretty much any sort of electronic or accessory can think of this store most likely has the first wall included a lot of cb radios and antennas the wall behind the counter held batteries and chargers as some of you probably remember to the right of the counter was a wall with some antennas featuring the notorious antenna i tell individuals not to buy but they buy it anyhow for those of you who are not knowledgeable about what i think of this design here is a brief clip this design it’s scrap scrap
What happened to RadioShack? Radioshack Replacement Store
junk this piece of junk [Music] the model was actually installed outdoors and hooked into a television set i went through the channels and just as i anticipated it was not picking up the abc affiliate whtm which broadcasts on the vhf band this antenna model is known to not perform well for vhf what’s so paradoxical lags the buildings were some really excellent older antenna designs regardless of my criticism of this antenna model i can understand why the owners decide to sell and display it it’s smaller sized and more consumer friendly the typical individual does not desire a big antenna on their roofing regardless of the much better efficiency or in this case gaining the harrisburg abc affiliate the next style over had two-way radios and some diodes the next design had basically any type of av cable television and adapter you can possibly imagine this used to be my favorite area since i’m also a wedding videographer and lot of times i would go to a wedding event and forget a specific audio cable required for the microphone throughout the event and there ‘d always be a radio shack neighboring i could stop at sadly that’s no longer the case another aisle featured fuses battery connectors and a lot of wires here’s a wall of transistors and would you think accessories for installing an outdoor antenna installing brackets amplifiers and even a rotator as i continued down the same wall there were video cable televisions and devices some two-way radios phone wires phones themselves and smartphone accessories including this really cool bluetooth cassette adapter it can’t be a radio shack without radios take a look at all of them designs in the middle of the store had vehicle stereo accessories speaker wire ethernet cable televisions computer cables blank media and whoa blank cassette tapes at this radio shack i can literally purchase a cassette deck record onto a blank cassette and if the heads get dirty
