In terms of this post and Radioshack Silver-bearing Solder Kester?…Radio Shack a lot of you probably think the shop has been gone for years after all the business applied for insolvency in 2015 and closed most company-owned stores a few years later on the key word there is company-owned stores dealership shops that were owned by independent business owners stayed open one of them took place to be within a half and an hour drive at my area brand-new holland pennsylvania amish nation here’s some shots of the beyond the radio shack what i actually liked is how the structure type of resembled an actual shack here’s the within the radio shack it looks precisely as i keep in mind practically any sort of electronic or accessory can think of this shop most likely has the first wall contained a lot of cb radios and antennas the wall behind the counter held batteries and battery chargers as some of you most likely keep in mind to the right of the counter was a wall with some antennas featuring the infamous antenna i inform individuals not to purchase but they buy it anyway for those of you who are not familiar with what i think about this model here is a brief clip this design it’s junk scrap
What happened to RadioShack? Radioshack Silver-bearing Solder Kester?
scrap this piece of junk [Music] the design was really installed outside and hooked into a tv set i went through the channels and just as i anticipated it was not getting the abc affiliate whtm which relays on the vhf band this antenna model is known to not carry out well for vhf what’s so paradoxical is behind the structures were some truly great older antenna models in spite of my criticism of this antenna design i can comprehend why the owners decide to sell and show it it’s smaller and more consumer friendly the average individual does not want a big antenna on their roofing system regardless of the better performance or in this case getting the harrisburg abc affiliate the next design over had walkie-talkies and some diodes the next design had pretty much any kind of av cable and adapter imaginable this used to be my preferred section because i’m also a wedding event videographer and many times i would go to a wedding event and forget a particular audio cable television needed for the microphone throughout the event and there ‘d constantly be a radio shack nearby i could stop at sadly that’s no longer the case another aisle included fuses battery ports and a lot of wires here’s a wall of transistors and would you think devices for mounting an outside antenna mounting brackets amplifiers and even a rotator as i continued down the same wall there were video cables and accessories some two-way radios phone wires phones themselves and mobile phone devices including this really cool bluetooth cassette adapter it can’t be a radio shack without radios look at all of them styles in the middle of the shop had vehicle stereo accessories speaker wire ethernet cables computer system cable televisions blank media and whoa blank cassette tapes at this radio shack i can actually buy a cassette deck record onto a blank cassette and if the heads get dirty
