junk this piece of junk [Music] the design was in fact installed outdoors and hooked into a tv set i went through the channels and just as i expected it was not getting the abc affiliate whtm which broadcasts on the vhf band this antenna model is understood to not perform well for vhf what’s so paradoxical is behind the buildings were some actually great older antenna models in spite of my criticism of this antenna model i can understand why the owners choose to offer and show it it’s smaller sized and more customer friendly the typical person does not want a big antenna on their roof despite the much better efficiency or in this case gaining the harrisburg abc affiliate the next style over had walkie-talkies and some diodes the next style had pretty much any sort of av cable television and adapter imaginable this utilized to be my favorite area due to the fact that i’m also a wedding videographer and often times i would go to a wedding event and forget a particular audio cable needed for the microphone throughout the ceremony and there ‘d always be a radio shack close-by i might stop at sadly that’s no longer the case another aisle included merges battery connectors and a lot of wires here’s a wall of transistors and would you believe accessories for mounting an outside antenna installing brackets amplifiers and even a rotator as i continued down the exact same wall there were video cable televisions and devices some two-way radios phone wires phones themselves and smart device devices including this really cool bluetooth cassette adapter it can’t be a radio shack without radios look at all of them styles in the middle of the store had cars and truck stereo accessories speaker wire ethernet cables computer cables blank media and whoa blank cassette tapes at this radio shack i can literally purchase a cassette deck record onto a blank cassette and if the heads get unclean
