In terms of this post and Radioshack Temkin Experience Ratings…Radio Shack a lot of you probably believe the store has been chosen years after all the company filed for insolvency in 2015 and closed most company-owned shops a few years later the key word there is company-owned shops dealership shops that were owned by independent company owner remained open one of them occurred to be within an hour and a half drive at my location new holland pennsylvania amish nation here’s some shots of the outside of the radio shack what i truly loved is how the structure kind of resembled a real shack here’s the inside of the radio shack it looks precisely as i remember basically any sort of electronic or device can think of this shop probably has the first wall contained a lot of cb radios and antennas the wall behind the counter held batteries and chargers as some of you most likely remember to the right of the counter was a wall with some antennas including the infamous antenna i tell individuals not to purchase but they buy it anyway for those of you who are not knowledgeable about what i think about this model here is a brief clip this design it’s junk scrap
What happened to RadioShack? Radioshack Temkin Experience Ratings
scrap this piece of junk [Music] the model was in fact set up outdoors and hooked into a television set i went through the channels and just as i expected it was not getting the abc affiliate whtm which transmits on the vhf band this antenna design is understood to not carry out well for vhf what’s so ironic is behind the structures were some really great older antenna models regardless of my criticism of this antenna model i can comprehend why the owners decide to sell and display it it’s smaller and more customer friendly the average individual doesn’t want a big antenna on their roofing in spite of the better performance or in this case getting the harrisburg abc affiliate the next design over had two-way radios and some diodes the next style had basically any sort of av cable television and adapter possible this used to be my favorite area because i’m also a wedding videographer and sometimes i would go to a wedding event and forget a specific audio cable needed for the microphone throughout the event and there ‘d always be a radio shack close-by i might stop at regrettably that’s no longer the case another aisle included fuses battery adapters and a bunch of wires here’s a wall of transistors and would you believe devices for mounting an outside antenna installing brackets amplifiers and even a rotator as i continued down the same wall there were video cable televisions and devices some two-way radios phone wires phones themselves and mobile phone accessories including this actually cool bluetooth cassette adapter it can’t be a radio shack without radios take a look at all of them designs in the middle of the shop had vehicle stereo accessories speaker wire ethernet cables computer system cable televisions blank media and whoa blank cassette tapes at this radio shack i can literally buy a cassette deck record onto a blank cassette and if the heads get filthy
