junk this piece of junk [Music] the model was actually set up outside and hooked into a tv set i went through the channels and just as i expected it was not picking up the abc affiliate whtm which transmits on the vhf band this antenna model is known to not carry out well for vhf what’s so ironic is behind the structures were some truly good older antenna designs in spite of my criticism of this antenna model i can understand why the owners decide to sell and display it it’s smaller sized and more customer friendly the typical individual does not want a big antenna on their roofing system regardless of the much better performance or in this case acquiring the harrisburg abc affiliate the next design over had walkie-talkies and some diodes the next design had practically any sort of av cable television and adapter you can possibly imagine this used to be my preferred section since i’m also a wedding videographer and sometimes i would go to a wedding and forget a particular audio cable television needed for the microphone throughout the event and there ‘d constantly be a radio shack nearby i might stop at sadly that’s no longer the case another aisle included fuses battery adapters and a lot of wires here’s a wall of transistors and would you believe accessories for installing an outdoor antenna mounting brackets amplifiers and even a rotator as i continued down the same wall there were video cable televisions and devices some two-way radios phone wires phones themselves and smart device devices including this actually cool bluetooth cassette adapter it can’t be a radio shack without radios take a look at all of them designs in the middle of the store had vehicle stereo accessories speaker wire ethernet cable televisions computer system cable televisions blank media and whoa blank cassette tapes at this radio shack i can actually purchase a cassette deck record onto a blank cassette and if the heads get filthy
