junk this piece of junk [Music] the model was in fact set up outdoors and hooked into a tv set i went through the channels and just as i expected it was not picking up the abc affiliate whtm which transmits on the vhf band this antenna model is known to not carry out well for vhf what’s so ironic is behind the structures were some truly good older antenna models in spite of my criticism of this antenna design i can comprehend why the owners decide to offer and display it it’s smaller and more consumer friendly the average person doesn’t desire a big antenna on their roofing in spite of the much better efficiency or in this case acquiring the harrisburg abc affiliate the next design over had two-way radios and some diodes the next design had practically any kind of av cable and adapter imaginable this used to be my preferred section because i’m also a wedding videographer and sometimes i would go to a wedding and forget a specific audio cable television required for the microphone during the event and there ‘d always be a radio shack close-by i might stop at regrettably that’s no longer the case another aisle included fuses battery adapters and a lot of wires here’s a wall of transistors and would you think accessories for installing an outside antenna installing brackets amplifiers and even a rotator as i continued down the same wall there were video cables and devices some walkie-talkies phone wires phones themselves and mobile phone devices including this truly cool bluetooth cassette adapter it can’t be a radio shack without radios look at all of them styles in the middle of the shop had vehicle stereo devices speaker wire ethernet cables computer system cables blank media and whoa blank cassette tapes at this radio shack i can actually purchase a cassette deck record onto a blank cassette and if the heads get unclean
