scrap this piece of junk [Music] the model was actually installed outside and hooked into a tv set i went through the channels and just as i anticipated it was not picking up the abc affiliate whtm which relays on the vhf band this antenna model is known to not perform well for vhf what’s so ironic is behind the buildings were some actually excellent older antenna models in spite of my criticism of this antenna design i can understand why the owners choose to offer and display it it’s smaller sized and more customer friendly the average person does not desire a big antenna on their roof in spite of the better efficiency or in this case acquiring the harrisburg abc affiliate the next style over had walkie-talkies and some diodes the next design had practically any kind of av cable television and adapter you can possibly imagine this used to be my preferred area because i’m likewise a wedding event videographer and sometimes i would go to a wedding and forget a particular audio cable required for the microphone during the event and there ‘d always be a radio shack close-by i might stop at unfortunately that’s no longer the case another aisle featured fuses battery adapters and a bunch of wires here’s a wall of transistors and would you think devices for mounting an outside antenna mounting brackets amplifiers and even a rotator as i continued down the exact same wall there were video cables and devices some walkie-talkies phone wires phones themselves and mobile phone accessories including this really cool bluetooth cassette adapter it can’t be a radio shack without radios look at all of them designs in the middle of the shop had car stereo accessories speaker wire ethernet cable televisions computer system cables blank media and whoa blank cassette tapes at this radio shack i can actually buy a cassette deck record onto a blank cassette and if the heads get filthy
